Mothering

It’s really difficult for B and I to label our parenting philosophy. There are definitely elements of many different styles but in the end, we really just listen to our instincts, follow our son’s lead, and do what we think is right at the time.

From personal experience, I can tell you there’s no point in trying to set your philosophical ideas of parenting in stone. Ours are constantly changing, sometimes on a weekly or even daily basis.

Of course we take from what our parents have taught us, but that’s only a foundation; everything else comes from our own personal beliefs, morals, and values.

We believe in attachment parenting, breastfeeding, baby-wearing, cloth-diapering (still working on this one!), delayed/selective vaccinations, homeschooling, and co-sleeping.

Below are some of the very useful resources that I find integral to my mothering philosophy.
