Check out this list of non-toxic, low-waste cleaning products from around the world! Over 15 brands of sustainable, natural cleaning products for your home.

So you’re ready to start your journey to a non-toxic home and looking for safe, non-toxic cleaning products. Great!
But you’re also trying to lead a more eco-friendly and sustainable lifestyle by going zero-waste (or low-waste). Awesome!
But here’s the thing…
While there are now dozens of low-waste and zero-waste cleaning products popping up all over the internet, they are not all created equal. Many of these brands still use ingredients that I wouldn’t feel comfortable using in my home.
When I was researching and compiling the product lists for my book, Journey to a Non-Toxic Home, I made sure to dedicate some time to curating a list of low-waste cleaning products that also use safe, non-toxic ingredients.
Because you shouldn’t have to choose between low-waste and non-toxic; you CAN have both!
Below is a list of non-toxic AND low-waste cleaning products from around the world. There are 16 different brands listed here, which is impressive! I’ve also included which specific products I recommend from each brand.
Have you tried any of these low-waste cleaning products? Or is there another brand that you’re using and loving? I’d love to hear your thoughts! Please take a moment to leave a comment at the end of this post in case it will help others on their journey to a non-toxic, low-waste home.
Please note that some of the links below are affiliate links (marked with *aff), which means I may earn a small commission for referring you, at no extra cost to you. But I’ve also included a direct link to each company’s website for you as well. Thanks for your support!

Blueland

Blueland sells starter kits with glass or silicone “forever” bottles, and then you order refill tablets which you then dissolve in water. Their dish soap is a unique powder that you shake onto your sponge. Their dish tabs are “naked” so they’re not wrapped in that dissolvable plastic that most dish tabs are.
Their packaging and shipping materials are 100% plastic-free and recyclable all the way down to their paper tape.

Elmkind

Elmkind products are sold in aluminum bottles because it is lightweight and infinitely recyclable. They have refill stations across the UK, and they also sell concentrated refills on their website. And when you’ve collected four empty refill bottles, you can send them back and receive a free concentrated refill (which contains enough solution to make 5 bottles worth of cleaner).
Any used bottles they get back are sterilized and reused or sent to the local recycling centre. They do sell bulk refills in recycled plastic jugs, but they encourage you to send the jugs back to refill and reuse. All of their paper waste is shredded down and sent to local animal shelters for use in their animal beds.
